{"id":12929,"date":"2023-04-19T12:30:08","date_gmt":"2023-04-19T03:30:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/edifying-bkk.com\/%e3%82%ab%e3%83%86%e3%82%b4%e3%83%aa%e3%83%bc%e3%81%aa%e3%81%97\/night_life\/"},"modified":"2023-06-18T23:06:59","modified_gmt":"2023-06-18T14:06:59","slug":"night_life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/edifying-bkk.com\/en\/chiangmai-en\/night_life\/","title":{"rendered":"Chiang Mai Nightlife\/Sexual Affairs, Area (2023)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I guess there are pros and cons to going all the way to Chiang Mai for <strong>&#8220;nightlife (of the lady variety),&#8221;<\/strong> but if you live there, you will want to go there once in a while and use it as a social gathering place when you don&#8217;t have anything to talk about.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, though, I would say that the lady type nightlife in Chiang Mai is <strong>less satisfying and a bit hard to find.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Chiang Mai Nightlife Basic Information<\/h2>\n<p>For information on standard nightlife areas, including those for tourists, this site is probably the most detailed, so click here for basic information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u25bc Pattaya Arabian Nights<\/strong><br \/>\n\r\n\t\t\t<div class=\"blogcard\">\r\n\t\t\t  <div class=\"blogcard__subtitle icon-sphere\"><\/div>\r\n\t\t      <div class=\"blogcard__contents\">\r\n\t\t        <div class=\"heading heading-secondary\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pattayalife.net\/archives\/54947\" target=\"_blank\">\u30c1\u30a7\u30f3\u30de\u30a4\u306e\u591c\u904a\u30732023\u5e74\u6700\u65b0\u60c5\u5831\u307e\u3068\u3081 - \u30d1\u30bf\u30e4\u5343\u591c\u4e00\u591c<\/a><\/div>\r\n\t\t\t    <p class=\"phrase phrase-tertiary\">\u2026<\/p>\r\n\t\t      <\/div>\r\n\t\t\t  <div class=\"eyecatch eyecatch-11\"><a class=\"eyecatch__link eyecatch__link-mask\" href=\"https:\/\/pattayalife.net\/archives\/54947\" target=\"_blank\"><img width=\"100\" height=\"100\" src=\"https:\/\/edifying-bkk.com\/wp\/wp-content\/themes\/the-thor\/img\/img_no_768.gif\" ><\/a><\/div>\r\n\t\t    <\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\n<p>However, the area introduced is the area east of the Tha Phae Gate, where most tourists are located.<\/p>\n<p>It is certainly the only area where stores are grouped together, but it is a<strong>n area that has been around for a long time and there is an undeniable sense that it has been declining rapidly from its peak.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Go-go-bar<\/h3>\n<p>First and most importantly, as of March 2023, <strong>not even one go-go-bar had opened.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There were a few go-go bars in the past, but they closed &amp; temporarily closed (or maybe they won&#8217;t come back?) due to covit-19.<\/p>\n<h3>Bar beer<\/h3>\n<p>If you want to get involved with girls casually in Chiang Mai, &#8220;Bar-Beer&#8221; are the most promising.<\/p>\n<p>Within walking distance from Tha Phae Gate is a <strong>street (Loi Krod) where Bar-Beers gather.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"google-maps\"><iframe style=\"border: 0;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d1000.4753640609331!2d98.9927368667727!3d18.785137706275762!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x30da3aa1a1d13609%3A0x74f89d14558576b1!2sBa%20Ba%20Bo%20Bo%20Bar!5e0!3m2!1sja!2sth!4v1681634038769!5m2!1sja!2sth\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>However, the quality of the girls is low and there are not many. It is not likely that you will be able to play in Bangkok&#8217;s sordid way, as the girls are a bit more attentive to where you are drinking.<\/p>\n<h3>Karaoke (around Tha Phae Gate)<\/h3>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t stopped by the store either, but like Bar-beer, it doesn&#8217;t seem to be at a level that compares to Bangkok.<\/p>\n<h3>MP (Massage Parlor)<\/h3>\n<p>This one does not look too good either.<\/p>\n<h2>20 Karaoke, a karaoke place for residents to go.<\/h2>\n<p>I don&#8217;t think anyone who comes to Thailand because they like the nightlife would choose Chiang Mai. The name I often heard from residents is <strong>20 Karaoke.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"google-maps\"><iframe style=\"border: 0;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m18!1m12!1m3!1d3776.4432688241454!2d98.97783437356162!3d18.822948459871185!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x30da3ae350b8df71%3A0x5a0c232593a44fd7!2s20%20Karaoke!5e0!3m2!1sja!2suk!4v1681658268026!5m2!1sja!2suk\" width=\"400\" height=\"300\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>It is a bit far from the center of the city, but the tuk-tuk driver could understand me by saying <strong>&#8220;karaoke e-ship(20)&#8221;.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The restaurant is said to be frequented by expatriates and contains a Japanese karaoke system (DAM, I believe).<br \/>\nGoogleMap shows a picture of what looks like a large room, but this is the entrance and there are private rooms in the back, like the taniyas.<\/p>\n<h3>fee system<\/h3>\n<p>This system is similar to local karaoke.<\/p>\n<p>300 Baht per person per hour with a girl<\/p>\n<p>There are no ladies drinks; the girls drink the drinks we order.<\/p>\n<p>The price of alcohol was also close to the local setting: a full bottle of Johnnie Walker black was 1,900 baht.<\/p>\n<p>Ice and soda are charged separately, which is a bit expensive, I think 30 baht for each.<\/p>\n<p>Food was blah and priced at around 250 baht and up for one Thai dish.<\/p>\n<p>*I think Regency was the cheapest place for a bottle of whiskey (about 1,200 baht, I believe).<\/p>\n<h3>Lowest cost configuration<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Let&#8217;s say the three of us were there for two hours,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>300 baht x 3 girls x 2 hours + (300 baht tip) = 2,100 baht<\/p>\n<p>Regency 1,200 baht x 1 bottle + (ice x 3) + (soda x 10) = 1,590 baht<\/p>\n<p>= 3,690 baht \/ 3 people = <strong>about 1,230 baht per person. Well, this is only the lowest price structure.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*The girls drink the same bottles, so the alcohol runs out fast.<\/p>\n<h3>Ladies<\/h3>\n<p><strong>The level of lady I am concerned about is quite good compared to something like Bar-beer.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I had more than a dozen girls to choose from, depending on the number of customers coming in.<\/p>\n<p>*I&#8217;m sure it depends on the person (I forgot to ask) if it can be pay-bar or not.<\/p>\n<h3>It&#8217;s the groove that matters.<\/h3>\n<p>The girls we (three of us) chose were relatively quiet characters, and all three were from Chiang Mai.<br \/>\n(I don&#8217;t know if this is true)<\/p>\n<p>What I&#8217;m trying to say is that the girls who work <strong>there are not Isan people, so they don&#8217;t have that silly high-tension feeling.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>So I had a hard time turning on the girls!<\/p>\n<p>The girls sang Thai songs, we had a drink-fueling contest, and the party was finally getting going.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-12840\" src=\"https:\/\/edifying-bkk.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/chiangmai_night01.png\" alt=\"Chiang Mai Nightlife\" width=\"700\" height=\"365\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After about an hour, it was finally in this state.<\/p>\n<h3>Checkout on the day<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Three of us stayed for three hours. We ordered two black bottles of Johnnie Walker and some food, and it cost about 3,500 baht per person.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is cheap for a drink without worrying about money, but well, it costs that much.<\/p>\n<h2>Other Choices<\/h2>\n<p>The only other such stores outside of the Tha Phae Gate area are <strong>karaoke\/bar-beer for the locals.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are about five karaoke bars along the street where Chiang Mai Hormone is located.
